    This Act was passed on February 23rd in the year 2005. CHIRA is an Act that provides and guarantees affordable health insurances for all Californians. It also gives a Californian the right to decide on his or her own physician.

 

  • The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA)
    HIPPA was enacted upon by the United States Congress during 1196. This Act guarantees individuals and their families to retain their health insurance coverage if they choose to transfer to another job or in the event of losing their jobs.
